IT'S BEEN A WHOLE YEAR! I can't even remember the reason I started my blog, it almost definitely had a lot to do with encouragement from Nathaniel and my house mates, Edel, Hayley and Alicia. I want to thank all four of you for telling me to do this and constantly putting up with 'Do you want to take some photos?'. On the note of thank you's, thank you to everyone who has ever read anything particularly those on Facebook. It was a really big deal for me to share this with people that I know and you have no idea how much I appreciate every 'like', share, comment, especially the ones said in person. I am so ridiculously proud of this, it has given me confidence and inspiration and I want to tell everyone I meet that this is what I do. I finally have a hobby and something I enjoy and am actually good at. Jasminlousiey has grown so much in a year and I love to see that ticker go up. Here's to an even bigger and better 2015.... I love you all

On Saturday, we visited in the Sea Life Sanctuary in Gweek. I haven't been there since I was young and Nathaniel has never been. The sanctuary aims to save seals and release them back into the wild.
I'm not big on zoos because the idea of keeping an animal captive for the entertainment of people, completely baffles me but, they're doing a really good thing here. That's not to mention how totally adorable it is. They also house sea lions, penguins and 2 resident otters (which were my favourites). In terms of clothes, I went pretty laid back. I've also fallen in love with V-neck t-shirts (my younger self would be ashamed). The trench coat still makes it look put together even though it was pretty effortless...

A weekend in Cardiff never disappoints. This weekend we went to see
Cardiff's Winter Wonderland and went on two obligatory nights out...

The standard 2am Chicken Curry from Dorothy's on Chippy Alley...

Drunken, classy, corridor shoot. Some of the 'angles' from this shoot were... Interesting...

Cardiff Castle...

One of my favourite things about Cardiff is the arcades. They are so unique and beautiful, despite there being a Pizza Express here (not very unique). We found the cutest little
vintage shop called Hobos, chech it out if you come across it...

Hot Chocolate break at Barker's Tea Room. Plus complimentary Vogue

Busker: John Adams

The Winter Wonderland carousel. I love the colours in carousels, there's something
about them that are magical.

I found this jacket for £10(!) from a shop which is linked to Tea Room we got hot chocolate in,
Barker. Unfortunately they plan to close soon :(

My absolute favourite item of clothing is a coat. At this time of year they can completely
make an outfit. I'm a sucker for a vintage coat so most of them here will be. I love to add
a fur collar to give extra texture and warmth.

I get a lot of comments on my foundation routine and it's taken a while to perfect. I thought I'd share it with you...

I think a key element to flawless foundation is hydration. I stopped using primer as I never
noticed a different other than it making my face dry. I love Mac Charged Water.
The Body Shop, Vitamin E face mist is also really refreshing. Just spray all over your
face and let it dry before starting your base...

I started using Mac Studio Fix about 3 years ago and I haven't looked back since. I mix it with
Mac Prolong Wear concealer as it makes the best colour and coverage.
I use an Expert Face Brush to apply it. The Real Techniques brushes are
perfect because they are so easy to clean and they don't absorb the product.
To get the best coverage, 'stipple' the product over your face and blend using an 'out and down
motion'...

Next up is concealer. If I look really tired I'll put the SEVENTEEN phwoarr paint
on before my foundation. I just get a little on my finger and press it under my eyes, NO WIPING. This product is amazing, it's like a dupe of Benefit's Erase Paste however, I actually
think this is better as it it less thick making it easy to blend.

Finally is face powder. This is my go-to powder and it lasts forever. I use the Mac Pads
and press the product onto my T-zone and under my eyes, again NO WIPING.
Face powder is supposed to set the foundation not add coverage
so you don't need that much!

That was my everyday foundation routine. Let me know if it helped you and if you have any tips... x
