'ONE SHOULD EITHER BE A WORK OF ART, OR WEAR A WORK OF ART'

Tuesday 16 September 2014

We spontaneously took a bus to London last Wednesday to see the sights because despite shopping in London one or two times a year, I've never actually seen everything. We visited the Houses of Parliament, The London Eye, South Bank, Trafalgar Square and Hyde Park...

We found this mini bandstand in a park right next the Houses of
Parliament. I love it's eastern feel.

Finding something to wear for the trip was a little difficult, it had to be warm for the coach as we were travelling through the night and cool because it was going to be nice weather. Of course, layering was the answer.

I tied this Miss Selfridge maxi skirt in a knot at the front
to make it feel cooler and took a denim shirt and a scarf to use as a blanket on the bus.

We found this underground in South Bank, every inch of
space was covered in graffiti, even the ceiling, it was beautiful.

As soon as we entered Trafalgar Square there was a guy called Conor
who was chalking the floor with a message about Isis. He was
telling passers by about the prospect of the West funding Isis. His main
message was  to stop believing all the things in the media and
to stop letting them scare us. 'Emancipate Yourself'.
