Rock Salt was recommended to me by my flatmate when I told her where my placement was this week. I was a little dubious of having lunch on my own for no other reason than it being boring but the staff there were so nice that I didn't end up thinking about being on my own. When I sat down, the waitress put a bottle of water on the table which is perfect because under my mum's influence we always have table water. I ordered a falafel burger and the waitress told me it was a good choice. I only had an hour for lunch so I was pretty happy when my burger arrived 10 minutes later dispite them being relatively busy and honestly it was the nicest burger I have ever eaten. Also the decoration of the cafe/resuarant, I'm not sure if quaint is the word but I loved everything in there. It's in the perfect location for it's arty surroundings and defineltly had reasonable prices for the quality and service. There were a lot of tables that were reserved, even for lunch so they do get really busy but I could not fault Rock Salt, Stonehouse, Plymouth.
